South Island Speed Road Trip

This past weekend, we covered over 2,000 km’s on the South Island of New Zealand in 5 days along with our lovely visitor from the USA. We got to be super tourists, accomplish some goals, and tick a few items off of our New Zealand Bucket List.

We jumped off the Kawarau Bridge. Attached to a bungy of course.

We saw sperm whales in contrast with snow capped peaks in Kaikoura.

We saw countless fur seals. One with an itchy bum…

We ran our first (and hopefully not last) half marathon in another country.

We saw the bizarre Moeraki Boulders.

It was a whirlwind of a 5 day trip and we are hard back at work on the mountain.

Until the next adventure,

Erin
